  • Oil-Free Design: The most significant feature of a dry-type transformer is the absence of an oil tank and insulating oil. Its insulation and cooling medium is air or an insulating gas. This design offers substantial advantages in fire prevention and explosion protection, making it particularly suitable for use in places with high fire protection requirements and dense populations, such as high-rise buildings, underground facilities, hospitals, and schools.
  • Winding Structure: Typically, the windings are treated with epoxy resin casting or vacuum pressure impregnation processes, which endow the windings with high mechanical and electrical strength.
